Explore Our Community: Schools

An enriched, enlightened community begins with education.

At Jerome Village, the schools are more than a collection of buildings. Here, the whole concept of school and education is part of the comprehensive fabric of the community. Of course, at the foundation of this philosophy is the fact that 85% of Jerome Village lies within the highly regarded Dublin School System. Interestingly, Jerome Village is the final developable land within the district, which adds tremendous value to the concept of an enlightened community.

Our plans feature a 38-acre campus with both an elementary and middle school in the Glacier Park Neighborhood that should open in 2011. A second elementary school will be located in the Village Neighborhood. And as a pedestrian-friendly community, we envision children walking and riding their bikes to and from school each day. The schools won’t be detached from the neighborhoods, rather they will be connected to them – and to all the other factors that will make Jerome Village a place of lifelong learning. Ample parks and green space, for example, make remarkable classrooms. So does fifteen miles of walking and biking trails that lead to learning experiences around every turn.

Beyond the schools the Village Center will feature a township hall for civic gatherings, a church, a village green and a library. Which all serve as perfect environments for learning. And to complete the picture, Jerome Village will have a collection of artwork, sculpture and monuments, that among other things will pay tribute to the area’s founding fathers.
