M/I Homes plans to start a new housing development in Jerome Village in Union County.

The Columbus homebuilder expects to build 170 houses in the “Pearl Creek” neighborhood ranging from the low $400,000s to the upper $600,000s. Pearl Creek will be the 16th neighborhood in Jerome Village, the 1,700-acre development northwest of Dublin developed by Nationwide Realty Investors.

Fourteen homebuilders are active in Jerome Village, but Pearl Creek is M/I’s first venture in the development. M/I will build two series of homes in Pearl Creek: the Regency series and the Signature series. Pearl Creek will be on the southwest side of Jerome Village, south of Ryan Parkway.
