Eversole Run Middle School Weekly Newsletter

Dear Eversole Run Families,

We’ve had a great start to October. Our students really enjoyed the SOAR activity this week of decorating their class pumpkin and taking part in the pumpkin roll during our homebase period. I love seeing our students having fun and the smiles on their faces!
This week we wrapped up our fall conferences. Thank you to our PTO for providing dinner for the staff. Our next conference date is scheduled for February 9 and 16 from 3:30-7:00 p.m. As we get closer, we will send a reminder.
Next week our 8th graders will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12. Please make sure your child is not late for school. We will begin testing at the start of the school day. Students are expected to stay the entire day after testing is completed.
Dublin City Schools will be closed on Friday, October 14 due to teacher workday.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and we look forward to seeing your child on Monday.

Go Eagles!!
Kyle Gibson, Ed.D

Athletics
We wrapped up a successful Fall sports season at The Nest this week. We are so proud of our Fall athletes for their hard work and dedication. They certainly represented the Eversole Run community well on the field, course, court, and sidelines this Fall!
Our Volleyball team started their week with a sweep of Norton Middle School. They look to end their season well this weekend at the Marysville 7th Grade Invitational and the Dublin 8th Grade Invitational, respectively! They are both battling through the consolation brackets of their respective tournaments.
Though 7th Grade Football fell short to Grizzell at The Nest on Tuesday, they had a great season- finishing 5-2. Our 8th Grade capped a fantastic, 6-1 season with a Wednesday night victory (11-0) over Grizzell under the lights at Jerome High School. It was a great night to be an Eagle!
Girls Tennis finished their season this week with an exciting win over Grizzell, 3-2. They ended with a final record of 11-3 for the Fall. Great job, ladies!
Cross Country is looking to finish their season strong at the Les Eisenhart Invitational on Saturday. Go Eagle XC!
