Dear Eversole Run Families,
We had a great start to the week with our students dressing up in their Halloween costumes on Monday. It was fun to see all of the creative ideas that our students came up with!
Dublin City Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 8. Our staff will take part in professional development throughout the day, continuing to learn more about the R-Factor and also take part in district-wide safety training.
As we move into November, we will be recognizing our Veterans on Friday, November 11 with a video highlighting specific experiences of some military veterans that volunteered to speak with our students. The video will be shared with all of our students during our SOAR period. We will also place the video on our website for parents to view as well.

Athletics
Our Winter athletics program is in full swing! The basketball, cheerleading, and wrestling teams have all been hard at work in practices to prepare for their upcoming season! We are so proud of the effort they are putting in to represent Eagle Nation this Winter!
This past weekend, our Competition Cheer team competed in the Urbana event. They turned in their best performance to date. They competed in 3 divisions, and took home 1st, 1st, and 2nd places~ earning an overall championship! Fantastic job, ladies! This weekend, they will travel to the Miamisburg Competition. Good luck, Competition Cheerleading!
Coming up this week, we will have our Winter Meet the Coach Night. At least 1 parent of each Winter athlete must attend. It will be on Wednesday (11/9) from 6:00-7:00pm in the Eversole Run MS Commons.

High School Credit Drop Date
Any students taking high school credit classes have until Friday, November 4th to withdraw from any high school credit bearing class. Notation of this course will be expunged from the transcript if withdrawal is completed before November 4th. Military Options Night
On November 14th from 6-8pm on the 2nd floor of Emerald Campus, MS/HS students and their families will be able to speak with Dublin alumni, DCS staff who are actively serving or have retired from military roles, and active duty personnel about their experiences and career path options.
Breakout sessions will give participants the opportunity to learn more about the ASVAB test, career development and training that comes from serving in the Armed Forces, Reserves, and National Guard. Participants will have a better understanding of the differences between the enlisted and officer ranks, their job qualifications, education, and scholarship opportunities
