Jerome Village 2024 Community Dues

The Jerome Village Community Authority (CDA) and Residential Property Owners Association (HOA) have approved their 2024 budgets. Invoices for these community dues have been mailed and are due by March 11, 2024.

As recently communicated, Buildium is your new online payment portal for community dues. You should have received an email invitation directly from Buildium (@managebuilding.com) to access your new account(s),view balance(s), and make payments.

Details about the 2024 community dues are as follows:
1. The Community Center Charge supports operating expenses for community amenities including the community center building and staff, fitness center, aquatic facilities, and the bike trail system including landscaping, maintenance, and mosquito control. The fee is based on budgeted operating costs and is subject to increase each year by a percent not to exceed the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for that year. With a 3.35% increase to the CPI, the 2024 fee will be $470.25 per household.

2. The Residential Property Owners Association (HOA) fee is for the expenses of maintaining neighborhood common areas including common area entries and fences, mowing and fertilizing, mulching and pruning trees, and snow removal and plowing where applicable. This fee is based on budgeted operating costs. The 2024 fee is $365.00.

* The following neighborhoods have additional assessments for specialized services: Gardenia, Rock Rose Place (billed by Rock Rose HOA), Plum Ridge Place, Canby Court (billed by Bob Webb), Eversole Woods (billed by Romanelli and Hughes) and Cottages at Verbena (billed by Schottenstein Homes).

* There is no HOA assessment for owners in the Courtyards at Jerome Village or Courtyards at Hyland Run as fees are assessed by Epcon Communities for services provided.

Please note that for most households, the Assessed Valuation Charge historically billed by the CDA, will now be included on property tax bills from Union County. Fees are based on your assessed property value and are calculated at a rate of 9.5 mills ($332.50 per $100,000 of property value). *Note – newer households may be mailed an invoice from the CDA for this charge.

Community dues can be paid electronically by following the instructions provided in your Buildium invitation e-mail. If you need assistance setting up your Buildium account, feel free to contact your property management team. Since this is a new system, we will also be accepting payments by mail this year sent to the Property Management office located at 7920 Brock Road, Plain City, OH 43064.
